Thinking of buying your first bike? Here are some tips you may consider before you buy. | | Our sales professionals will ask multiple questions to help determine the bike that is right for you. Some things for you to ask yourself are, "What am I going to be using this bike for, long distance riding, just thru the neighborhoods or just 2 miles to work? These types of questions are important because there is nothing worse than purchasing a new bike and it being the wrong one for your intended purpose.
Say you plan on learing to ride well enough to take a trip to the beach, maybe with a passenger. Well, the Rebel 250 you sat on is not the right bike to do that on, even though you feel that it fits you right, you will need something a little larger, but not too large where it intimidates you. By the same token, you wouldn't want to start out on a Goldwing, either. We would recommend the bike that would fit your needs while at the same time not put you on something that you felt was too large.
Remember, getting the right machine that suits your needs is just as important as how it looks to you! |

Watercraft Tips |
 |
| Yamahs has three different lines of watercraft, the VX series, FX series and the GP. The VX is considered an entry level watercraft and comes in 4 different trim levels. The FX is more of the high end watercraft and it comes in 6 different trim levels. The GP is the pure performance watercraft. The VX and FX are all 4-strokes while the GP retains the 2-stroke engine.
Before you purchase your next watercraft, consider these few questions:
Will I be pulling a skier or tube? Do I want reverse? Will I have younger adults riding it that I need to keep tabs on?
If you anticipate pulling skiers or tubers, you may consider one of the Yamaha FX's. Click here to view all our watercraft. This watercraft will give you enough power to do either without any problems.
The VX will pull tubers and skier's, but not as easily as the FX. With a little less horsepower than the FX's and alot less money, the VX would be the right choice for budget minded individuals. With reverse on nearly all our model's, you can be sure that approaching a dock or shoreline will be much easier and safer when riding a Yamaha watercraft. |
