How many dealers do you know that can say that they have achieved "Pro Yamaha" status? You probably don't know any because only 5% of all the dealers in the country are a Pro Yamaha dealer, and we are one of them!

Montgomery Honda Yamaha started life as Hunter Honda in 1971. It has been in the same location ever since. Our vice president, Gerald Smith has been with the company since 1974. Mr. Smith began his career here as a parts counter person, and eventually moved up to parts manager.

In 1988, the company was purchased by our current owners and the name changed to Montgomery Honda Yamaha and Mr. Smith made General Manager. In early 2002, he was named Vice President of the corporation. Gerald is a former motocross racer and sponsor of motocross racing.

With the naming of Gerald Smith as Vice President, David Huneycutt was promoted to General Manager in early 2003. David had been the Service Manager since 1996 and prior to that a salesman. David is a former roadracer and shifter kart driver.

Madge Spitzer is in our accounting department. Madge recently won "Most Valuable Employee" voted by her co-workers. Madges' husband Michael and son J.T. ride bikes as well.
